Product Overview
Handmade, lightweight Snow Boots designed for comfort and protection. We created them especially for long-legged breeds such as Italian Greyhounds and Whippets. However, they may also suit other breeds. For the best Snow Boots fit, please refer to the measurement guide.
Materials & Construction
To deliver reliable performance, we combine several carefully selected fabrics. First, the inner lining uses warm cotton/polyester to retain warmth. Next, the toe cap features lightweight, water-resistant fabric for protection. In addition, the sole is made from waterproof PVC vinyl.
For flexibility and support, the front (high-top) boots include elastic polyester around the ankle. Meanwhile, the back boots feature long, warm fleece “sock” sections made from polyester. Finally, reflective strings decorate the front of each boot to improve visibility in low light.
Secure & Dog-Safe Fit
To keep the boots securely in place, we use hook-and-loop fasteners. Front boots feature two fasteners, while back boots use one. This design choice is intentional. A dog’s back leg has a tendon that runs low along the leg. Because of this, fasteners must never sit on tendons. This detail is critical. Boots that attach over tendons can harm your dog. Therefore, we prioritize canine welfare just as much as warmth and protection.
Recommended Use
For best durability, use the boots on soft surfaces such as snow, ice, forests, or fields. That is exactly why we call them snow boots. In contrast, regular use on paved paths will reduce their lifespan. Please note that these boots are not indestructible. Because we make them from soft fabrics, durability depends on wearing time and walking conditions.
Care Instructions
To extend the life of the boots, care for them as you would any outdoor clothing. For example, impregnate them against moisture and always dry them thoroughly after snowy walks.
Putting the Boots On
One more thing to know: putting the boots on takes a bit of practice. However, once you reach “pro” level, the process becomes quick and easy.
