Description
Handmade lightweight leather Snow Boots. Made especially for the long legged ones – Italian Greyhounds and Whippets, but may be suitable for other breeds if applicable (see the measurement guide). For the best result the snow boots are made combining several fabrics: the warming cotton/polyester for the inner side of the boot; the toe cap made from lightweight leather; the thick leather for the boot sole; the elastic polyester goes for front legs (high-top) ankle part; the long, warm back leg ankle parts (socks) made from polyester fleece; reflective strings decorate the front of every boot; hook and loop fasteners guarantees the stay-on-leg function. You will find two fasteners on front boots and one fastener on back boots. Why is that? It’s because dog’s back leg has a tendon starting from the low part of a leg and the fastener CANNOT be attached on tendons. Remember, this is very important! We do care about our dogs welfare as much as we want them stay warm during cold days. Keep away from the boots who are attached on tendons, You will simply harm Your dog. What else is great about these snow boots – they are lightweight and warm! Even though they are made from lot of details, the boots are light and comfortable for the dog. For the best durability the boots should be used on the soft / silky surfaces, such as snow, ice, forest, fields (that’s why they are called snow boots). Using the boots on a simple paved path will reduce the durability of the leather sole – keep that in mind. The snow boots are not ever-lasting, as they are made from natural materials, such as leather, the durability depends directly on the time of wearing and the wearing circumstances. For even better durability take care of Your dog boots as of any other leather outdoor piece of clothing: impregnate them against moisture, dry after the snowy walks. One more thing you need to know – it takes time to put the boots on, but once You pass to a PRO level, it will be easy as that <3 All in all – the Dumas Goods snow boots are excellent protection against frozen paws for our sensitive dogs.
P.s. we recommend keeping your dogs boots on only when necessary, as well as the clothing. This is not a decoration.
